Squirrels & Owls - Ramsey
In Squirrels (our 2 year-olds) and Owls (our 3 to 5 year-olds) children have free flow access between two rooms and outdoors areas, supporting their developing needs and growing independence. Ramsey offers the 'Oaklea Borrowing Library' where children can choose books and family sharing bags (nursery rhymes and songs) to enjoy at home.
Movement Room
The movement room is equipped with:

A role play area with props to support imaginative and small world play

Classroom
The classroom is set aside for quieter activities, including:

Free access to activities that support children's developing independence, care of themselves and encouraging fine motor control (such as threading or pouring)

Sensorial activities that prepare children for early maths and literacy

Exploration of the wider world and early science
The Outdoors
Children are able to choose to be outdoors, which provides them with a rich learning experience.

Each room has its own outdoor classroom, sheltered underneath the all weather canopy

There are playtime resources such as cars, trikes, hoops etc.
