Government Funding
April 2024, all working parents of 2-year-olds can access 15 hours per week
September 2024, all working parents of children aged 9 months up to 3 years old can access 15 hours per week
September 2025, all working parents of children aged 9 months up to 3 years old can access 30 hours childcare per week

Oaklea Montessori offers funded places to eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds over a range of core sessions. All children are entitled to funded early education the term after their 3rd birthday (15 hours maximum).
Our Core Sessions :
(Funding can be applied where eligible)
The following charges below apply if:
* your child is not eligible for funding
* your child is doing additional hours over their funded hours
* you wish to buy wrap-around care in addition to the core hours above.
or 9:00am to 12:00
or 9:00am to 3:00pm
or 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Snacks are free and accessible during every session.
Please note, the charges shown for meals apply to all children irrespective of funding.
From 1st April 2024 fees will be:
Little Sparrows 0 to 2 Year Olds £9.50 / hour
Squirrels 2 Year Olds £9.10 / hour
Owls 3 to 4 Year Olds £8.90 / hour
Saplings 4 to 8 Year Olds £10.50 / hour
(School aged children)
Meals Breakfast £1.90 / day
Lunch £4.00 / day
Tea £2.60 / day
Children will move from Little Sparrows to Squirrels the term after they turn two, and then from Squirrels to Owls the term after they turn three. This is also when the relevant government funding can be applied from.
